More Content is Not Your Friend

We’re all buried in the content avalanche. You open your inbox. Scroll. Groan.

"You have to be kidding me."

You asked one simple question two weeks ago. The daily deluge hasn't stopped since.

Another whitepaper offer, "thought leadership" email, then the "just checking in" from someone you've never met.

All you want to do? BLOCK BLOCK BLOCK.

Now-think about this….

That's YOUR reaction to being bombarded with content. What makes you think your buyers feel any different about YOUR content avalanche?

Yet we keep doing it. Why?

Because that's the we've always done it. Because the all holy  content calendar says so. Because someone told us "you need to stay visible."

What's actually happening in your buyers' minds? When content overwhelms them,

->It triggers negative emotions like stress and frustration.

->That in turn diminishes engagement and vendor confidence.

-> All that slows the decision process.

Not what you had in mind now is it?

Put simply, content overload triggers cognitive shutdown.

When content is specific, relevant, timed right? Their thinking mind is engaged.

They lean in instead of tuning out.

The difference isn't the quality of your content. It's whether their minds see your content as value.

The challenge?  74% of buyers don’t trust you anymore.  You have to learn to be relevant. But that's another conversation…

In the meantime, all that AI content equals more BLOCK BLOCK BLOCK.

Now, think about this.

What content are you creating that makes buyers want to block YOU?
