Enough With Blaming Others for Your Shit

By Rebel Brown

I’m done. I know a lot of you are too.

I’m sick and tired of people deciding to blame others for their own stupid shit.

You don’t do your job? It’s not my fault.

You don’t keep your commitments and all hell breaks loose?  Not my fault either.

You act like an idiot and say stupid things. Not my fault either.  Nor is it anyone else’s.

It’s Called Responsibility

We each carry the responsibility for our own actions. You may not like that, but it’s reality.

Maybe your 3 sisters trained you to blame others since they accepted your blame. This isn’t family and I am not your sister who was too kind to rat on you.

I realize our supposed leaders are modeling the blame behavior for you. Get over it.  It doesn’t look good on them and it looks far worse on you.

Perhaps you think you’re better than the rest of us. Of course we have to take the blame for your less than perfect life.  Here’s a clue. Go fix it yourself. Not our problem.

When you disagree with me about something, that’s just fine by me. We all have our own unique perceptions that drive our beliefs and behaviors. Until I walk your life in your brain, I don’t have the right to say you’re wrong. And you don’t have the right to blame me and call me names because we differ.  Grow up.

Stand Up or Shut Up

Here’s my simple bottom line.

You can either stand up, take responsibility and behave like an adult.

Or you can sit down and shut up. I’m not taking your anger and your blame anymore. I hope nobody else does either.

It’s time we stopped taking the crap and started saying NO to the blame and anger. NO to the insanity.

Just plain NO…

I feel so much better now that I got that out of my system:)  Anyone else???
